Former Site of Xiong Shihui’s Mansion in Nanjing

The Former Site of Xiong Shihui’s Mansion in Nanjing is a cultural relic protection unit of Nanjing.

Xiong Shihui’s residence is located at No. 40 Zhongshan North Road, Nanjing.

The building was constructed during the Republican era (exact date unknown), faces south, features a red tiled roof, yellow stucco exterior walls, a faux three-story structure, and is designed in a Western-style villa format. There are two such buildings. Currently, the structures are used as facilities for the Jiangsu Provincial Government Kindergarten, were listed as a cultural relic protection unit of Nanjing in 2006, and are currently in good condition.

Xiong Shihui

His formal name was Xiguang, courtesy name Tianyi, also known as Master Xuesong. (1893.5–1974.1), born in Yazuilong Village, Wanbu Town, Anyi County. He graduated from the Imperial Japanese Army Academy (selected by Sun Yat-sen to study in Japan in 1920 and graduated in 1924).
