Fengminghai Scenic Area is a National AAAA-level Tourist Attraction.

Fengminghai Scenic Area is located about 3 kilometers east of the main urban area of Jiawang. In 2014, it was successfully rated as a National AAA-level Tourist Attraction. The planned area of the scenic zone is approximately 10 square kilometers, with a total investment of 2 billion yuan. Among these, three sections—the Fengminghai Core Area, Mountain Park, and Zhuyu Health Valley—have been completed and opened to the public, with an investment of 1.2 billion yuan, and the developed area covers 6 square kilometers.

Relying on its unique water systems, mountain landscapes, and rich historical and cultural resources, the scenic area features China’s largest garden landscape stone—the Fengming Stone, the “finest in northern Jiangsu” phlox flower sea, the “white jade pot gushing from flat land” Fengminghai Lake, the “nature’s masterpiece” Strange Stone Forest, the “unique giant rock formation” Fengming Valley, the legendary Wolong Slope, the Yan Mountain Mountain Park, Longquan Ecological Farm, and Flying Home, among other attractions. With the landscape characteristics of “graceful mountains and rivers, and idyllic farmland,” it creates an environment that integrates water and mountain elements. In 2015, it added 160 acres of flower seas, 60 acres of verbena windmill gardens, an auto camping base, Yongfu Farmhouse, an open-air swimming pool, a water park, and 19 other functional projects, all of which were put into use in early May. It has gradually developed into a suburban scenic destination primarily for leisure, entertainment, and vacation for urban residents. Since its establishment, Fengminghai has successfully hosted major events such as the 3rd Jiawang District Traditional Sports Games, the Fengminghai Orienteering Treasure Hunt Challenge, the Fengminghai Lakeside Marathon, the 1st Xuzhou Kite Festival, and the “Fengminghai Cup” Model Aircraft Open Competition, further enhancing the scenic area’s visibility and influence.

Self-Drive Route: Take the Xuzhou–Jiawang Expressway to the new urban area of Jiawang, then drive 3 kilometers east.
