Xuzhou Han City is a national AA-level tourist attraction.

The CCTV exterior filming base — Xuzhou Han City — is located in the renowned Jiuli Mountain Ancient Battlefield. It is closely connected to China’s remarkable Guishan Han Tomb, as well as Baiyun Cave and Baiyun Temple. Not only is it a film and television production base, but it is also a tourist attraction that caters to the needs of various types of visitors. Covering an area of 160,000 square meters, it consists of 23 structures including the Han Palace, Prime Minister’s Mansion, Han Que Gates, Bell Chamber, and Library Pavilion, along with 28 exquisite sculptures. It is a large-scale ancient-style architectural complex that authentically recreates the style of the Han Dynasty. The site is divided into four themed areas: the Imperial Palace Area, Imperial City Area, Market Area, and Martial Arts Area. The Imperial City Area comprises three interconnected palaces: Weiyang Palace, Changle Palace, and Jianzhang Palace. The Imperial City Area, Market Area, and Martial Arts Area all feature interactive ancient-style entertainment spots for visitors: four stages, one altar, one military formation, and one tree. Xuzhou Han City is not only a CCTV filming base but also an educational center for Han Dynasty culture. It serves as an artistic venue for visitors to cultivate their tastes, as well as a recreational destination for leisure and enjoyment. It is a tourist attraction that vividly recreates the historical ambiance of Han society and is rich in Han cultural heritage.
