Lakeside Bathing Beach
The Lakeside Bathing Beach is located on the eastern shore of Hongze Lake, facing the three islands of Penglai, Yingzhou, and Fangzhang across the water. It is about 2 kilometers from the city center. The beach spans 600 meters from north to south, covering an area of 30,000 square meters of land. Since construction began in May 2000, over 3 million yuan has been invested. Existing facilities include a 5,000-square-meter artificial beach, a 3,600-square-meter underwater platform, shower and changing rooms, leisure cottages, a parking lot, a convenience store, the Nine-Dragon Wall, and the Suspended Lake Bamboo Village Hotel.
