The Chaihe Huaibao Old Revolutionary Base Martyrs' Cemetery is a classic red tourism attraction.

The Chaihe Huaibao Old Revolutionary Base Martyrs' Cemetery was originally named the Chaihe Martyrs' Cemetery. It was first built in the early years after the liberation and was located within the compound of the East Beach Rice Mill in Chaihe. In the early 1970s, it was relocated to the compound of the Phosphate Fertilizer Factory west of the Chaihe Aquatic Products Bridge. At that time, the scale was relatively small. In 1982, it was moved again to the east side of Xiaohe and centralized the burial of three martyrs.

In 2009, in order to implement the directives from the provincial, municipal, and county governments on rescuing, maintaining, and centrally relocating scattered martyrs' tombs within their jurisdiction, the Chaihe Town Party Committee and government conducted an investigation and survey of the scattered martyrs' tombs in the area. Through discussions and negotiations with the relatives of the martyrs, they signed the "Centralized Relocation Agreement for Martyrs' Tombs" one by one, and commenced the relocation of the martyrs' tombs and the construction project of the Chaihe Town Huaibao Old Revolutionary Base Martyrs' Cemetery, which was then officially named. In 2011, during the Qingming Festival, the cemetery was relocated and expanded, with a total project investment of 300,000 RMB. The cemetery is now located on the east side of Nantang Dawei in Chaihe Town (originally the east side of Dawei, Fuzhuang Group, Fusheng Village), where transportation is convenient and the environment is pleasant. The cemetery covers an area of 3.8 mu, with one memorial tower and 18 martyrs' tombs. Before the Qingming Festival in 2014, the town government invested 400,000 RMB to renovate some facilities of the martyrs' cemetery.

In the center of the cemetery stands a martyrs' memorial tower, facing south and backed by the north, with a total height of 8.1 meters. It is covered with marble on the surface, including a 1-meter-high upward-facing platform. The base of the tower is square, measuring 4 meters in both length and width. At the top of the tower is a red five-pointed star, and the front is inscribed with eight golden copper characters: “革命烈士永垂不朽” (“Eternal Glory to the Revolutionary Martyrs”). On the north side of the memorial tower are 18 horizontal martyrs' tombs. The cemetery ground has been elevated by 60 centimeters to form a platform. The tombs are arranged in two rows, front and back, from east to west, with nine tombs in each row. The tomb casings are all made of high-quality black marble, finely engraved with the names of the martyrs and their epitaphs. The perimeter of the cemetery is enclosed with railings, and the entire platform is paved with marble.
