In order to implement the directives from the provincial, municipal, and county governments regarding the rescue, maintenance, and centralized relocation of scattered martyrs' graves, and to create a key site for commemorating revolutionary martyrs and conducting patriotic education, the former Party Committee and government of Wanji Town conducted a detailed survey of all scattered martyrs' graves within the town in 2009, signed the "Centralized Burial Agreement for Martyrs' Graves" with the relatives of the martyrs, and commenced the relocation of the graves and the construction of the "Wanji Town August 1st Revolutionary Martyrs' Cemetery." The cemetery began construction in May 2011 and was completed in April 2012.

The Wanji August 1st Revolutionary Martyrs' Cemetery is located near Badui in Guobei Village, covering an area of 690 square meters. It features a memorial monument facing east and backed by the west, standing 8.1 meters tall, symbolizing the August 1st Army Day. The base of the monument is square, measuring 3 meters in both length and width, with a height of 1.1 meters, while the main body of the monument is 7 meters high. At the top of the monument is a red five-pointed star, beneath which are eight golden bronze characters reading “Revolutionary Martyrs Live Forever.”

To the west of the monument lie five horizontal martyrs' graves, arranged from south to north. The grave covers are all made of high-quality black marble, intricately engraved with the names of the martyrs and their inscriptions. They house the remains of five revolutionary martyrs from Wanji: Guo Wanjin, Liang Zhaosheng, Long Fenghu, Bei Xuewen, and Dong Yubao.
