To implement the spirit of the "Martyrs' Comfort Project" promoted by the higher-level Party and government, the former Zhu Ba Town Party Committee and government started investigating and registering scattered martyrs' graves within their jurisdiction from 2009. They signed the "Agreement on Centralized Burial of Martyrs' Graves" with the relatives of the martyrs, and initiated the relocation of the martyrs' graves and the construction project of the town's "August 1st Revolutionary Martyrs' Cemetery." The cemetery was completed on April 5, 2011, Qingming Festival.

The Zhu Ba August 1st Revolutionary Martyrs' Cemetery is located at the southern end of the public cemetery in Dawei Village and Sanwei Village on Zhu Ba Street. It is 34.2 meters wide from north to south and 23 meters long from east to west. In the center of the cemetery stands a martyrs' memorial monument, facing south and backed by the north. The base of the monument is a square of 3 meters, the bottom of the main body is a square of 1.2 meters, and the top is a square of 0.6 meters. The monument is 8.1 meters high, with a net height of the main body being 6.5 meters and the base 1.6 meters. It is covered with white marble, symbolizing the noble souls of the martyrs. The front of the monument bears eight large characters: "Eternal Glory to the Revolutionary Martyrs."

On the north side of the monument, there are 12 horizontal martyrs' graves, arranged in two rows from east to west, with six in each row. Among them, ten unnamed martyrs are buried together in one grave. Of the 21 martyrs, 18 sacrificed their lives during the Liberation War, 2 died in service after the liberation, and 1 was killed in the counterattack against Vietnam in Yunnan.
