Gaoliangjian Inlet Sluice

Gaoliangjian Inlet Sluice is a Jiangsu Provincial Cultural Relics Protection Unit.

Commonly known as the Inlet Sluice, Gaoliangjian Sluice is located in Gaoliangjian Town, Hongze District. It serves as the headworks of the Subei Irrigation Main Canal. Designed by the Huai River Control Headquarters and constructed by the Gaoliangjian Engineering Office, the sluice began construction in November 1951 and was completed in June 1952. It underwent three reinforcement projects in 1954, 1958, and 1978. On the southern bank upstream of the sluice, there is an iron ox from the Qing Dynasty's Kangxi era.

In December 2011, the Jiangsu Provincial People's Government designated it as a cultural relic protection unit under the seventh batch of provincial-level listings.
