Xuyi City Planning Exhibition Hall

The Xuyi County City Planning Exhibition Hall covers a total area of approximately 400 square meters, with an investment of about 2 million yuan. Both the planning and design, as well as the exhibition setup, were undertaken by Shanghai Jianpei Model Company. The exhibition content is divided into five parts: first, the main city planning model, which focuses on introducing Xuyi’s urban master plan up to the year 2020; second, the control detailed planning model of the administrative center area, a key development zone of the city; third, the wall-mounted model of the county’s urban system planning; fourth, the display corridor showcasing the town and village layout plans of the county’s 19 towns; and fifth, wall-mounted photographic displays that recreate Xuyi’s historical evolution and highlights of urban construction. In terms of exhibition techniques, the hall employs fully automatic multimedia flow demonstrations, paired with voice-controlled dynamic models, internal spotlights, external projections, and automatically played video dynamic programs, all of which vividly present a realistic vision of Xuyi’s future cityscape. Additionally, the new hall is equipped with an interactive touch-based planning information kiosk, providing residents with a smooth platform for participating in the city’s planning process.
