Tianyuan Park

Tianyuan Park is located at 735 Shuicheng Road. Except for its main eastern entrance facing Shuicheng Road, the park is surrounded on three sides by residential buildings and institutional premises. The site was originally the Tianshan Nursery. In October 1984, the Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Parks and the People's Government of Changning District invested 460,000 yuan. The overall planning and landscaping design were overseen by Xie Jiafen from the Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Parks, with construction carried out by the Shanghai Municipal Gardening Engineering Company. The park was completed and opened to the public on New Year’s Day in 1986. It features pavilions, corridors, trellises, potted plants, and flower stands, with appropriately arranged greenery. The park also offers numerous terraces, stone benches, garden chairs, and benches, making it especially popular among local residents, particularly the elderly.
