Yu Shun Art Museum is located at No. 1 Artists' Street, College Road, Limin Development Zone, with a construction area of 6,800?. It is the largest privately-owned modern art museum in China, established by Mr. Lu Yushun, a renowned contemporary painter and calligrapher, as well as the Vice President of the China National Academy of Painting. The museum covers a construction area of 8,800 square meters, with an exhibition space of nearly 6,000 square meters and an exhibition line of 1,100 meters. It officially opened in June 2006. In July 2008, the "Hulan District Art Museum" was officially established at Yu Shun Art Museum. The three floors of the museum house three main exhibition halls, along with dozens of other facilities including collection rooms, research rooms, an art lecture hall, meeting rooms, restoration and appraisal rooms, library and resource rooms, studios, and offices. These spaces allow the museum to host large-scale exhibitions or multiple themed exhibitions either simultaneously or separately. Yu Shun Art Museum primarily focuses on research, creation, collection, and display. It also pays attention to related artists and organizes and preserves art historical materials. The museum curates high-quality domestic and international art exhibitions and collections, promotes academic research in modern art, and advances art education. As a comprehensive art institution, it plays an active role in promoting traditional Chinese culture, advancing socialist spiritual civilization, and fostering cultural and artistic exchanges, education, and exhibitions both within China and abroad. Over the years, Yu Shun Art Museum has hosted a series of high-level, influential academic exhibitions that have attracted scholars and artists from around the world, earning significant attention within the industry. In 2009, the museum was rated as a National AAA-level Tourist Attraction. From 2010 onwards, it was approved by the Ministry of Culture and designated as the "Heilongjiang Creation Base of the China National Academy of Painting." To date, the museum has held nearly 80 influential exhibitions both domestically and internationally, over 30 collection exhibitions, and more than 10 touring and exchange exhibitions. It has also organized dozens of forums, artwork discussions, lectures, and fieldwork-based creative activities. Through the successful hosting of these exhibitions over the years, the museum has played a key role in preserving traditional Chinese culture and contributing to public cultural development.
