Erlong Mountain Pearl Island Film and Television City is located on Pearl Island in the Erlong Mountain Scenic Area of Binxian Town, approximately 54 kilometers east of Harbin. The name "Erlong Mountain" comes from the image of two dragons playing with a pearl. The Greater Dragon Mountain and the Lesser Dragon Mountain stand side by side from the northeast to the southwest, their undulating peaks resembling giant dragons soaring through the clouds, swaying their heads and tails as they rush toward the pearl island in the water — an image both dynamic and still, remarkably lifelike.

Pearl Island is truly a hidden paradise, a stronghold nestled among waters and hills. A large flag stands proudly at the entrance, fluttering in the wind. The entire film city is built in the ancient style reminiscent of the Tang Dynasty. Bamboo barriers for horse control are set up on both sides of the drawbridge and watchtower, while the surrounding walls and battlements of the island are adorned with replica ancient war banners. Strolling through waterside pavilions, arched bridges, and replica ancient plank paths, and ascending the watchtower, you’ll feel the gentle breeze, the softness of the foliage, and the rustling of battle flags — all evoking a deep sense of nostalgia, as if you’ve been transported back to the days of Liangshan Marsh. The Pearl Island Film City is a joint outdoor filming base established by Changchun Film Studio and Beijing Film Studio. In the spring of 1998, the first phase of the project was completed, and the second phase added facilities such as waterside pavilions, an underwater palace, and water hotels on the northern part of the island. It is the only multifunctional comprehensive film city in Heilongjiang Province that integrates tourism, leisure, entertainment, and film culture.

Binxian Town: A town under the jurisdiction of Binxian County and the seat of the county government. Established in 1945, it is located in the western part of the county, covering an area of 17.3 square kilometers with a population of 69,000. National Highway 221 passes through the town.
