Heilongjiang Xianglu Mountain Forest Park is located in Bin County, Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province, covering a total area of 1,136 hectares and situated 80 kilometers from Harbin, the provincial capital. The Xianglu Mountain Scenic Area features natural landscapes such as mountains, forests, water bodies, and snow and ice, and serves as a leisure tourism destination integrating travel, vacation, winter activities, and cultural entertainment.

Xianglu Mountain Forest Park is located on the extension of the Zhangguangcai Mountain Range of the Changbai Mountain system, with a forest coverage rate of 98%. The park's terrain is mainly low mountains and hills, featuring undulating peaks and crisscrossing valleys. The ingenuity of nature has created the unique landforms of Xianglu Mountain. The main peak, Wofoding, is the highest point in the park, standing at an elevation of 798 meters. From a distance, the summit resembles a reclining, sleeping Buddha. In 2015, the natural Reclining Buddha of Xianglu Mountain was awarded a world record certification by the World Record Association as the "World's Largest Natural Reclining Buddha in a Mixed Broadleaf-Korean Pine Forest."

Xianglu Mountain Park boasts abundant plant resources. According to field surveys and statistical analysis, the park is home to 539 species of vascular plants, including 5 species under national second-class protection. Its well-preserved forest ecosystem makes it a paradise for wildlife, including 1 species of nationally first-class protected mammals, 2 species of nationally second-class protected mammals, and 22 species of nationally second-class protected birds.

Located in the valley at the foot of the mountain, the Fifty Bends Creek stretches for 5,000 meters. The stream winds and twists along the contours of the mountain, with peculiar rocks scattered across the creek bed, covered in moss. The valley enjoys moist, fresh air rich in negative ions. Towering cliffs and precipices stand alongside gentle beauty, creating a harmonious coexistence of ruggedness and softness. In spring, the stream and glaciers coexist; in summer, moss covers the ground while blue butterflies flutter about; in autumn, golden and fiery hues intermingle, with vibrant fall foliage and the stream forming a stunning autumn scene; in winter, snow mushrooms are visible everywhere, resembling a fairy-tale kingdom.

Bin County is relatively close to Harbin. During the Anti-Japanese War, it served as the location of the North Manchuria Branch of the Chinese Communist Party. Leaders such as Chen Yun once worked and lived here, leading land reform and anti-bandit campaigns, and making immortal contributions to the victory of the People's Liberation War and the consolidation and development of the red regime. The complex terrain of Xianglu Mountain and its proximity to the county seat made it an ideal location for stationing troops and conducting guerrilla warfare.
