Renhe Ancient City

Renhe Ancient City is a cultural heritage protection unit of Heilongjiang Province.

Renhe Ancient City is located 1.5 kilometers south of Chengzi Tun in Renhe Village, Xindi Town. It dates back to the Jin Dynasty and is classified as an ancient site.

On December 17, 1986, Renhe Ancient City was designated as part of the second batch of cultural heritage protection units in Heilongjiang Province.

Xindi Town: Xindi Town is situated in the northeast of the county. To the east it neighbors Shengli, to the west Minhe, to the south Bin’an, and to the north it faces the Songhua River, across which it looks toward Mulan. The town seat is Xindi, located 40 kilometers from the county seat. The town covers a total area of 206.7 square kilometers, comprising 9 villages, 76 natural hamlets, 1 subdistrict office, and 8 residential committees. It has a total of 6,025 households and a population of 32,100.

Xindi has a long history. During the Liao Dynasty, it served as a garrison area. In the Jin Dynasty, Qujiang County under the jurisdiction of Shangjing Huining Prefecture was located in Renhe Village.
