The Meihua River Mountain Tourism Resort is located in the Wumahe Forestry Bureau - Management Area of Yichun City, northeastern Heilongjiang Province. Situated between the city center and Meihua Mountain Ski Resort, it enjoys an exceptionally prime location. The resort is 12 kilometers from downtown Yichun and 6 kilometers from Yichun Lindu Airport. With an average altitude of 360 meters, it is one of the subsidiaries under Yichun XinHao Green Tourism Group. Boasting fresh air with high levels of negative oxygen ions and a rich variety of landscapes, the resort spans a total area of 1,199 hectares. In 2007, it was approved as a National AAAA-level Tourist Attraction and a National Agricultural Tourism Demonstration Site.

The highest peak of Meihua Mountain National Forest Park under XinHao Green Tourism Group reaches an altitude of 1,046.8 meters. It is a AAA-level tourist attraction approved by the State Forestry Administration, and was the only tourism site in Heilongjiang Province to be honored as a National Low-Carbon Tourism Demonstration Site in its inaugural year. In 2009, it was recognized by the Tourism Culture Research Center of the Chinese Culture Promotion Society and the China International Tourism Culture Exhibition Office as “China’s International Most Promising Tourism Destination with Development Potential.” The park boasts abundant natural resources, fresh air with high levels of negative oxygen ions, and diverse landscapes. The pristine Korean pine forests remain lush and green all year round, with towering ancient trees that are both majestic and captivating. The virgin forest is home to many rare and precious wild animals. Meihua Lake within the park serves as a joyful habitat for numerous rare cold-water fish species.

The Meihua River Mountain Tourism Resort mainly consists of seven functional tourism zones: Yichun Ecological Garden, Korean Pine Hall, Birch Forest Inn, Farmhouse, Forest Wooden Villa Area (Lumberjack Town), Artificial Hunting Ground, and Meifeng Ding Stone Forest. In addition, the resort includes eight major breeding and planting functional areas along with a high-tech garden nursery base. The breeding areas mainly include: pheasant and pigeon breeding zone, native chicken breeding zone, wild boar breeding zone, roe deer breeding zone, meat dog breeding zone, sika deer breeding zone, hare breeding zone, and cold-water fish fishing and breeding zone. The planting areas mainly consist of wild vegetables and high-tech vegetable greenhouse zones.

The planting area, also known as the green breeding and planting base, primarily focuses on cultivating pollution-free, green agricultural and sideline products, and is a National Agricultural Tourism Demonstration Site. The pure green food produced at the base is highly favored by consumers, with the “XinHao” and “Sendu” product series being especially popular across the province and beyond. The base features an agricultural tourism sightseeing garden where visitors can enjoy the endless fun of hand-picking and purchasing pollution-free, green vegetables, melons, and fruits in spacious and bright smart greenhouses and vast green corridors. They can also observe the specially bred poultry and unique animal performances here.

There is also a high-tech nursery production base, which mainly focuses on researching and cultivating landscaping seedlings. Over the years, it has successively developed various tree species and landscaping seedlings suitable for planting in northern and central regions of China. These include cold-resistant, drought-resistant, salt-alkali-tolerant, environmentally friendly, evergreen, shade-tolerant, and well-crowned Korean pines; Xing’an larch, Changbai larch, Populus berolinensis, elm trees, sandy spruce, sugar maples, peachleaf willows, Schisandra chinensis, and white spruce, among others. This base has been awarded the title of Top Ten Tree Seedling Units in Heilongjiang Province.

Also located within the Meihua River Mountain Resort are Meihua Mountain Ski Resort and Meihua Mountain Hunting Ground, both affiliated with Yichun XinHao Green Tourism Group. The Meihua Mountain Ski Resort is situated within Meihua Mountain National Forest Park. It is not only a National SSSS-level ski resort but also the only forest ecological ski resort in Yichun City that combines skiing with ice and snow entertainment. The resort currently features three ski runs—advanced, intermediate, and beginner—suitable for skiers of all levels. The hunting ground features undulating mountains, dense shrubs, crisscrossing streams, and eight large and small rivers that are crystal clear and completely unpolluted. Marshy grasslands are widespread, serving as a natural habitat for birds and beasts. The site includes a uniquely styled Hunter Reception Center and Hunter Camp, equipped with guest rooms, bars, barbecue facilities, and more. Professional hunting guides are readily available to provide warm and attentive service to visitors.

XinHao Group plans to develop the under-construction Meihua River Tourism Town into a renowned northern tourist destination. In the coming years, it will commence construction on an international-standard golf course, a beach off-road racing track, Forest Sea Homestays and self-driving tour bases, Meihua River Reservoir, a rehabilitation and wellness center, and a five-star international convention and exhibition center.

The area offers distinct scenery in all four seasons, allowing you to experience the natural beauty of the ecological forest region—blossoming mountain flowers in spring, lush greenery in summer, vibrant colors in autumn, and a silver-wrapped wonderland in winter.

Meihua River Mountain Resort can accommodate up to 230 people for business conferences and trade negotiations at one time, host 500 guests for accommodation, and serve 1,000 diners simultaneously.
