Yong’an East Lake is located 1.5 kilometers east of Yong’an Village, Chaoyang Town, Jiayin County, hence its name. The white sandy beach by the lake is smooth as a whetstone, the grassy fields are lush and green, and a gentle breeze blows along the lakeshore. It can be said that its beauty unfolds in the breeze, after rain, under the moonlight, at dawn, in the evening mist, amid birdsong, floral fragrances, neon lights, and colorful clouds—painted into an extraordinarily enchanting painting. Far from the hustle and bustle of the town and nestled against the majestic green mountains to the south and the pristine waters of the Heilongjiang River to the north, the lake area boasts clean, cool air and crystal-clear water. In the peak of summer, visitors strolling along the sandy beach feel no trace of summer heat. If you take a dip in the lake, whether you wade through the waves or gaze up at the sky, the serene mountains and tranquil waters of nature accompany you, giving you a feeling of being in a dreamlike paradise. Countless terns and other birds nest in the forests behind the lake and on the small islands in the water. When they take flight, their shadows dot the sky, accompanied by continuous chirping that complements the fish swimming in the lake.

Yong’an East Lake is located 1.5 kilometers east of Yong’an Village, Chaoyang Town, Jiayin County, hence its name. It is 9 kilometers from Jiayin County Town and was formed by the perennial inflow of water from Luoma Lake and the backflow of the Heilongjiang River, covering an area of 46.5 hectares.

Yong’an East Lake borders the mighty Heilongjiang River to the north, connects with verdant green mountains to the east and south, and lies adjacent to Yong’an Village to the west. The river, mountains, lake, and village are closely intertwined—the green mountains set off the graceful beauty of the lake, the lake adds infinite charm to the mountains, the village brings vitality to the green mountains and clear waters, and the green mountains and clear waters lend an air of refined beauty to the village. Viewed from above, the lake nestles beside the emerald waters, with dappled green reflections and a misty, rainy ambiance that stirs the imagination. Looking afar at the southern shore of the lake, layered green mountains stand tall, with rustling forests, some adorned with willow branches, others with towering trees or twisted ancient trunks.

Near the lakeside, there are colorful flowers and fragrant grasses, as well as the vibrant, multicolored mountain slopes in autumn—emerald green, crimson purple, deep orange, light yellow, snow white, and bright red—all creating a dazzling array of colors that are truly magnificent and uplifting. One could say there are endless beautiful scenes to enjoy in every season. In spring, the grass turns a distant yellow and azaleas bloom across the mountains; in summer, birds sing and flowers bloom amidst lush greenery; in autumn, the golden wind brings coolness and frosted leaves outshine flowers; in winter, the landscape is covered in snow, the waters recede, and the mountains are cold and wrapped in silver. The surface of East Lake is vast, with a sandy lakebed that teems with various fish species such as carp, bream, silver carp, and crucian carp—perfect for fishing and offering a relaxing leisure experience.
