Yong'an Bronze Age Site

The Yong'an Bronze Age Site is a cultural tourism attraction.

The Yong'an Bronze Age Site is located between Boat Marker No. 596 and the watchtower, 70 meters from the bank of the Heilongjiang River, in the western part of Yong'an Village. It stretches 250 meters from east to west and 80 meters from north to south, covering an area of 2,000 square meters. Major unearthed artifacts include ring-footed jars and red-slipped pottery pots. The ring-footed jars have bulging bodies that are larger at the top and narrower at the bottom, with very small bases; some appear to have long necks, and are mostly black or yellowish-brown in color. The rim areas feature rich decorative patterns such as punctate designs, fingernail impressions, horizontal incised lines, and sawtooth patterns. Archaeological analysis identifies these as artifacts from the Bronze Age, dating back to the Warring States period to the Western Han Dynasty in China. This site may have been a settlement of the Sushen tribal group.
