Eight Immortals Pavilion — On Guanyin Mountain in the Taipinggou Scenic Area stands an ancient Taoist temple. Originally built during the height of the gold rush as a place where people prayed for wealth, prosperity, and bountiful gold, it was later imbued with the legendary tale of the Eight Immortals crossing the sea. It has since been renamed to its current name, the Eight Immortals Pavilion.
