Reed Field Wetland Red-Crowned Crane Nature Reserve — The Red-Crowned Crane Nature Reserve is located in Weichang Township, Luobei County, about 40 kilometers northeast of the city center. It lies within the marshlands formed by the Dulu River and Wutong River basins of the Songhua River, covering a wetland area of over 100 square kilometers. The reserve features low-lying terrain, interconnected ponds, and dense reed growth, and is one of the three major waterfowl habitats in northern China as well as a key stopover site for migratory birds, serving as the homeland of red-crowned cranes, white cranes, and black-and-white swans.
