The Dulu River Wetland Nature Reserve is located in Duluhe Village, Tuanjie Town, southern Luobei. It is a marsh area formed by the Dulu River, a tributary of the Songhua River, and the Wutong River basin, covering a wetland area of over 100 square kilometers. The reserve features low-lying terrain, interconnected pools, and dense reed beds, making it one of the three major waterfowl habitats in northern China and a key migratory bird stopover area. It is also the homeland of red-crowned cranes, white cranes, and black-and-white swans. Every spring and autumn, migratory birds flying from the south or returning there must first stop here before moving on. In areas such as Laodeng Mountain, Yueyapao, and Laopao within the reserve, thousands of crane species, herons, storks, geese, ducks, and hundreds of other waterfowl thrive during spring, summer, and early autumn, making it another excellent destination for eco-birdwatching in northern China.
