Houkouzi Site

The Houkouzi Site is a cultural heritage protection unit of Jilin Province.

The Houkouzi Site is located in the Songhua River Forest Farm of Songhua River Town, Dehui City, Changchun, and is classified as an ancient site dating back to the Bronze Age.

The Houkouzi Site is a seventh batch provincial-level cultural heritage protection unit.

Songhua River Town: Songhua River Town in Dehui City is situated in the northeastern part of Dehui, facing Fuyu County and Yushu City across the river. To the north lies Caiyuanzi Town of Dehui City, while to the south it neighbors Chalukou Town and Yangshu Town, and to the west it borders Dajia沟 Town. The town covers a total area of 165 square kilometers, with arable land spanning 9,580 hectares, including 4,500 hectares of paddy fields.

Within the territory of Songhua River Town there is one river, one stream, and one reservoir — namely the Second Songhua River basin, the Mushi River, and the Gaochengzi Reservoir, all of which boast relatively abundant water resources.
