Martyrs' Cemetery in Hengtong Town

The Martyrs' Cemetery in Hengtong Town is located beside the Liuhe–Yangzhaishao Highway in Hengtong Town, Liuhe County, about 2 kilometers from Hengtong Town. The structure covers an area of 300 square meters, with a protected area also spanning 300 square meters.

The cemetery is composed of stone pillars, a memorial stele, and two martyrs' graves. The left and right stone pillars are inscribed with “The Glorious Names of Martyrs Live Forever in History” and “Heroes’ Achievements Excel Across China.” The front of the memorial stele tower is engraved with “Revolutionary Martyrs Memorial Tower,” and the base of the tower is inscribed with “Revolutionary Martyrs Live Forever.” Behind and to the right of the stele lie two martyrs’ graves, surrounded by more than fifty pine and cypress trees on both sides.

The Martyrs' Cemetery in Hengtong Town serves as a local Party history education base.

Hengtong Town: The town government of Hengtong is located in Hengtong Village, about 18 kilometers northeast of the county seat. It borders Shengshui Town to the east, Shijiadian Township to the south, Xinfɑ Township to the west, and Xingling Township of Meihekou City to the north. In 2000, the town had jurisdiction over seven administrative villages and 22 natural hamlets.

The total cultivated land area of the town is 2,616 hectares, including 565 hectares of paddy fields and 2,051 hectares of dry fields. The total population is 11,825, comprising 5,948 males and 5,877 females.
