Martyrs' Cemetery of Wudaogou Town

The Martyrs' Cemetery of Wudaogou Town is located on the northern hill of Wudaogou Village, Wudaogou Town, approximately 3 kilometers from the town center. The cemetery covers an area of 200 square meters and was renovated in 2002.

Within the grounds stands a memorial monument inscribed on the front with “Eternal Glory to Revolutionary Martyrs,” along with two martyr tombs. Each tomb is circular in shape and constructed with cement, standing about 2 meters high and 2 meters long. These two tombs house the remains of two martyrs: Pang Keqian and Wang Chengying. They were formerly the instructor and district head of Wudaogou District respectively, and sacrificed their lives heroically during the Liberation War after being betrayed by a traitor. Originally buried in Liangshuihezi Town, Liuhe County, their remains were relocated and reinterred in Wudaogou Town on July 8, 1968, and the cemetery was rebuilt. In front of the tombs stand memorial tablets. The left one is inscribed: “Tomb of Martyr Wang Chengying, District Head of Wudaogou District, Liuhe County, July 8, 1968.” The right one reads: “Tomb of Martyr Pang Keqian, Instructor of Wudaogou District, Liuhe County, July 8, 1968.”

The Martyrs' Cemetery of Wudaogou Town serves as a local base for Party history education.
