The Jingyu Volcanic Mineral Springs National Geopark in Jilin Province is situated in the southwestern part of Jingyu County, Baishan City, at the core of the Longgang Volcanic Cluster of the Changbai Mountains. It spans geographic coordinates from 126°30′26″ to 126°48′35″ east longitude and from 42°08′16″ to 42°22′03″ north latitude, covering a total area of 382.78 square kilometers. Officially established as a national park in January 2004 by the Ministry of Land and Resources of China, it is accessible via the Yingfu Highway on its northern edge and crossed by the Jingbai Highway, making it a key transit route for travelers heading from Shenyang, Changchun, and Jilin to the western slope of Changbai Mountain. The area enjoys convenient transportation.

The mineral springs in the park are mostly low-mineralization magnesium-calcium bicarbonate mineral waters rich in metasilicic acid. These springs are densely distributed, with abundant reserves, stable flow rates, and excellent water quality. The park boasts a well-preserved ecological environment, with lush forest vegetation. Its diverse volcanic landforms, high-quality mineral spring resources, and rich wildlife collectively provide an invaluable site for geological and ecological research, resource development, science education, tourism, adventure and fitness activities, as well as leisure and vacation.

The Jingyu Volcanic Mineral Springs National Geopark in Jilin Province is composed of three major scenic areas: the majestic modern Longgang Volcanic Cluster, the diverse and fascinating mineral spring group, and the pristine natural ecosystem. The entire scenic zone features 72 mountains, 18 springs, 3 lakes, 2 valleys, 2 museums, 1 river, and 1 cave. It serves not only as an ecological tourism destination for leisure and vacation but also as a natural classroom for earth science education and research.
