The Hou Taiping Ancient Ruins Cluster includes three types of cultural remains: Neolithic Age, Shang-Zhou to Warring States periods, and Liao-Jin-Yuan periods. The cluster comprises the Donggangzi Site, Hou Taiping Site and Hou Taiping Cemetery, Panshan Site, Qikeshu Site and Dabatuo Site, Xishanwanzi Site and Bainiu Tomb, as well as the Dajinshan Site.

Dongming Town: Located in the southeastern part of Shuangliao City on the north bank of the Dongliao River, Dongming Town has 13 administrative villages, 47 natural hamlets, 4,753 households, and a population of 18,700. It covers an area of 109.3 square kilometers, including 4,431 hectares of arable land.

The main grain crops in Dongming Town are rice and corn, with rice covering 3,700 hectares, accounting for 85% of the arable land. Key cash crops include peanuts, soybeans, and minor grains.
