The Changbai Mountain International Natural Ski Park, the largest natural snow-themed ski park in Asia. Opened on January 12, 2009, on the western slope of Changbai Mountain. It is currently the only natural ski park in China that uses natural snow as its foundation and focuses on high-altitude extreme skiing.

Situated in the western scenic area of Changbai Mountain, the Changbai Mountain International Natural Ski Park is the first in China to use high-powered snowmobiles for full-course ski transportation. It features five natural ski runs, including the longest extreme ski run stretching 7 kilometers — currently the longest of its kind in China. The slopes are undulating and highly challenging. Skiers glide down the snow-covered mountains and trails, kicking up swirling clouds of white as they carve through the unending snowy landscape. They navigate the slopes on their boards, twisting and turning as they descend at lightning speed from the silver-clad Changbai Mountain. Visitors can also experience the thrill of driving snowmobiles through forest trails, enjoying bumpy rides, sharp turns, and high-speed descents amid the mountainous terrain.

To cater to beginner skiers, the ski park also has a beginner training center with professional instructors on-site. A variety of snow activities such as snow tubing, snowmobiling, and sledding are available, along with well-equipped service facilities including rest areas, ski rental services, and hot food stands. These meet the diverse needs of both extreme skiing professionals and casual visitors looking to enjoy, play in, or ski on the snow.

Beyond the wealth of snow sports, visitors can also admire the majestic winter scenery of Changbai Mountain’s Tianchi Lake, the glistening forests and snow-blanketed valleys of the Changbai Mountain Grand Canyon. Changbai Mountain has a temperate continental mountain climate with long winters and heavy snowfall. The snow is of high quality, with the snow season lasting from mid-October to mid-June each year — up to eight months — and snow depth reaching 1–2 meters, with some areas accumulating up to 3–4 meters. The snow is light, soft, fluffy, and pristine white. The Changbai Mountain International Natural Ski Park takes full advantage of these exceptional snow resources. Following the natural contours of the volcanic cone of Changbai Mountain, it has designed natural ski runs. The park spans from the alpine tundra zone at an altitude of 2,500 meters to the alpine birch forest zone at 1,700 meters, offering a vertical drop of 800 meters and ski runs extending 8 kilometers in length.

The Changbai Mountain International Natural Ski Park is 315 kilometers from Changchun, the capital of Jilin Province, and 30 kilometers from Changbai Mountain Airport. At the entrance of the western scenic area stands the four-star Blueview Days Hotel, which can accommodate over 200 guests.

Erdao Baihe Town: Administratively part of Antu County in the Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture of Jilin Province, Erdao Baihe Town lies at the foot of Changbai Mountain and boasts abundant forest resources. Located in the southeastern part of Jilin Province, it borders North Korea to the southeast and sits on the northern slope of Changbai Mountain. It is 34 kilometers from Changbai Mountain and 65 kilometers from the Shuangmufeng Sino-Korean border. The town covers an area of 52.42 square kilometers and has a population of 63,475 (including 44,494 permanent residents and 18,981 temporary residents).
