The North Pagoda is located on Beita Street in Lingdong Subdistrict. Built in the 8th year of the Chongde era of the Qing Dynasty (1643), it has a history of over 350 years and still stands majestically today. This pagoda is one of the Four Outer Pagodas of Shenyang. Its unique design, ingenious structure, and high-quality materials showcase the wisdom and exceptional craftsmanship of the laboring people. To the southwest of the pagoda is 0 Temple, which was built at the same time as the North Pagoda. This temple houses scriptures and differs from the other three temples. The architectural layout of 0 Temple includes a mountain gate, bell tower, drum tower, east and west stele pavilions, the Heavenly King Hall, the east side hall, and the main hall along with the monks’ quarters. It covers an area of 19,582 square meters.
