Yingchengzi Mural Tomb

The Yingchengzi Mural Tomb is a cultural relic protection unit of Liaoning Province.

Introduction The Yingchengzi Mural Tomb is located south of Shagang Village, Yingchengzi, Ganjingzi District, Dalian. It is a brick-chambered tomb from the Eastern Han Dynasty. Discovered in 1931, it was once damaged by outsiders. The tomb chamber is grand in scale, with distinctive architectural and mural styles. The central area is the main chamber, covered by a tall outer chamber. Beyond the outer chamber are the front chamber, rear chamber, and east side chamber, all interconnected. There is a tomb passage to the south. The bricks are adorned with ring-shaped, feather-like, and grid patterns, painted with red pigment.
