Yingchengzi Folk Museum

Yingchengzi Folk Museum, located in the center of Yingchengzi Town, Ganjingzi District, 20 kilometers west of Dalian, is a newly developed scenic area based on the restoration of the Tang Dynasty Yongxing Temple, integrating history, folklore, and Buddhist cultural tourism. The first phase of the project covers a total area of 11,000 square meters, with fifteen ancient buildings covering a total area of 2,300 square meters, divided into two exhibition areas. The eastern section houses the Folk Museum, which is divided into sections on history, cultural relics, folklore, culture and art, the Twenty-Four Filial Exemplars, and artistic treasures, showcasing the region’s 6,000-year-long history, splendid culture, and simple, rich folk customs.

Guanyin Hall At the center of the hall is the Thousand-Armed Guanyin Bodhisattva, behind whom are the Island-Holding Guanyin along with Shancai and Longnü; to the north of the hall are statues of Kṣitigarbha and Mahāsthāmaprāpta; on the sides are the Child-Giving Guanyin, White-Robed Guanyin, the Tower-Bearing Heavenly King, and the statue of the Sangharama.
