Shoushan Park is located in Xinzhaizi, Ganjingzi District, beside the newly built Mingzhu Road. The park sits at the foot of Lazi Mountain and features a reservoir as well as a pond. In summer, the lush green trees on the mountain and the well-arranged distant peaks and nearby waters create a breathtaking scene.

Shoushan Park integrates elements of nature, scenery, religion, tourism, and entertainment, with a theme centered around Taoist culture. The legend of “Iron-Crutch Li” tells the story of him gathering medicinal herbs to heal and save people, reflecting the ancient people’s aspiration for health — hence the name “Shoushan Park” (Longevity Mountain Park). The park is divided into various scenic spots including Stone Boat Calming the Sea, The Legend of Iron-Crutch Li, Eight Immortals Crossing the Sea, Taoist Temple Fair, Longquan Lake Shore, Taoist Residence, Mountain Entrance Archway, and Sacred Worship Site, all offering stunning views.

Situated within Shoushan Health Valley in the park, Shoushan Temple houses several major halls such as the Mahavira Hall and the Heavenly King Hall, enshrining Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. There are also two independent courtyards: the Lvzu Temple and the Luban Shrine. Lvzu Temple was originally built in 1909 but was destroyed during the Cultural Revolution. It has now been rebuilt 500 meters from its original site. Luban Shrine was first constructed in 1889 at No. 39 Wanshun Street, Changchun Road, and has been relocated here. At that time, local masons, carpenters, and tilers in Dalian jointly built this shrine to worship Luban, aiming to promote local cultural heritage.
