The Reclining Buddha Temple is located at Lantian Villa, Qian'ge Village, Xinzhaizi Subdistrict, Ganjingzi District. Standing in the temple square and looking westward at the mountain range, you’ll see what appears to be a massive natural reclining Buddha facing the blue sky, gazing upward with clearly sculpted eyebrows, eyelashes, nose, and lips. Its slightly open mouth makes it seem as if the Buddha is delivering a sermon. Bathed in the morning glow and evening light, the image is strikingly lifelike and vivid. The main hall of the temple is the Mahavira Hall, and there are also other halls including the Reclining Buddha Hall, the God of Wealth Hall, the Guanyin Hall (Goddess of Mercy Who Grants Sons), the Ksitigarbha Hall, and the Ten Thousand Buddhas Hall.
