Xiaopingdao is a peninsula with breathtaking seaside views and was once a naturally formed, beautiful fishing village in Dalian’s history. Since the 16th century, it has been renowned for its coastal commerce, fresh seafood, and island-based tourism.

It is also the terminal point of the renowned coastal scenic road — Dalian Binhai Road — which starts from Haizhiyun Square on Dalian’s eastern coast and meanders through Tiger Beach, Bangchuidao, Fuzhijiao, and Xinghai Square. From Xiaopingdao, you can enjoy a panoramic view of Xinghai Bay, with the majestic spire of Xinghai Guobao clearly visible. Once the planned coastal road connecting Xiaopingdao to Xinghai Square is completed, it will take just five minutes by car to reach Xinghai Bay.

Xiaopingdao is surrounded by the sea on three sides and backed by mountains to the north, offering sweeping sea views to the south and an exceptionally high coverage of native vegetation. With its mountain-and-sea landscape advantages and unique natural environment, coupled with planned developments such as the “Xiaoping” Central Plaza (equal in size to Dalian’s most famous Zhongshan Square), a five-star hotel, high-standard seawater hot spring baths, upscale seafood dining facilities, and the construction of China’s largest international sailing yacht harbor in northern China, Xiaopingdao is set to take on greater urban tourism functions. It has been listed by the Dalian Tourism Bureau as a new tourist attraction and has become a new benchmark for successful tourism real estate development in Dalian.
