Dayang River Rafting is located about 4 kilometers from Xiuyan County Town. The total length of the rafting route is 12.5 kilometers, divided into three sections. The first section starts about 500 meters downstream from the eastern bridge over the Dayang River and ends at the Xiaohuling Kouzi Street villagers' group, spanning 5 kilometers in total; the second section starts at Xiaohuling Kouzi Street and ends at the fourth villagers' group of Xiaohuling, covering a length of 3.5 kilometers; the third section starts at the fourth villagers' group of Xiaohuling and ends at the first villagers' group of Xiaohuling, spanning 4 kilometers in total. Drifting down the river, you’ll encounter rushing rapids where the waves surge and the rafts race like wild horses set free, while in the calmer stretches, the water glimmers gently and the rafts glide as if strolling leisurely through a courtyard. Lush green mountains on both sides stand like emerald screens, their reflections shimmering in the water as the river winds around them—transporting you to what feels like a fairyland. Truly, “the raft floats on the water, and you drift through a painting.”

In addition to rafting services, the Dayang River Rafting area also offers agritainment tourism experiences. The Dayang River is the largest river in Xiuyan and is known as the mother river of Xiuyan. It earned its name because of its vast water flow, reminiscent of an ocean. The Dayang River originates in Pianling Town, flows from northwest to southeast, and meets the Shaozi River east of Shaozihe Village in Shaozihe Township before exiting the area and eventually flowing into the Yellow Sea at Huangtugang in Donggang City. The total length of the Dayang River is 230.2 kilometers, with 180.2 kilometers running through Xiuyan. Its drainage basin covers an area of 1,068.4 square kilometers. With numerous tributaries, abundant water volume, fast flow speed, and significant elevation drops, the Dayang River is highly suitable for rafting. Historical records indicate that a century ago, boats could sail all the way up to Xiuyan Town from the river mouth. However, due to gradual siltation over time, only small boats can now reach Shaozihe Street.
