Moon Lake Tourist Area is a national AAAA-level tourist area, located on the coast of the Bohai Sea in the southern part of Yingkou Economic and Technological Development Zone. Situated in the city center and bordering Liaodong Bay to the west, it is a large-scale comprehensive tourist destination integrating entertainment, leisure, culture, dining, sightseeing, fitness, and vacation.

The first phase has a total planned area of 910,000 square meters, including 380,000 square meters of water area and 530,000 square meters of land area. The total investment is 510 million RMB, of which 90 million RMB is for infrastructure and 420 million RMB for commercial investment. The first phase is divided into four functional zones: the Central Landscape Area, Entertainment and Amusement Area, Water Sightseeing Area, and Leisure and Vacation Area.

The Central Landscape Area includes: the Gate Plaza, Central Landscape Road, and Water Performance Stage, covering an area of 70,000 square meters. The Entertainment and Amusement Area covers 20,000 square meters with an investment of 40 million RMB. The Water Sightseeing Area spans 530,000 square meters. The Leisure and Vacation Area includes: the Moon Lake Coast Resort project (70,000 square meters), the Eco Manor project (15,000 square meters), the Auckland New World project (30,000 square meters), and the Seafood Restaurant project (2,000 square meters).

The second phase has a total planned area of 700,000 square meters, with an infrastructure investment of 120 million RMB. The second phase includes the Crescent Bay Beach and the Mountain-Sea Square. The construction period was from December 2007 to October 2009. The Crescent Bay Beach covers 400,000 square meters, with an estimated investment of 50 million RMB. It includes a parking lot (15,000 square meters), service facilities (6,000 square meters), a sand-blocking dike (670 meters), and an observation tower. The Mountain-Sea Square covers 60,000 square meters, featuring a 2.6-kilometer landscape wall, traffic islands, lighting projects, greening projects, and sound systems.

Take bus routes 206, 209, or 501 directly from Bayuquan Long-Distance Bus Station; take bus route 204 directly from Xiongyue Railway Station or Long-Distance Bus Station; exit at the Bayuquan Toll Station on the expressway, turn left onto Qinglongshan Street, then right onto Changjiang Road, and left onto Liaodongwan Street to arrive; exit at the Xiongyue Toll Station on the expressway, head west along Shanhaidadao, then right onto Liaodongwan Street to arrive.
