Bohai Pearl Scenic Area
The Bayuquan Bohai Pearl Scenic Area consists of Shanhai Square, New Crescent Bay Beach, the Sea Viewing Dyke (Boardwalk), the Viewing Platform, and the Bohai Pearl Princess Sculpture. It is a golden coastal tourism belt that integrates sightseeing, vacationing, leisure entertainment, fitness, and sports.
Shanhai Square is the main square of the southern new urban area of Bayuquan, featuring the Bronze Flute Sculpture; eight white marble relief walls that reflect the local customs and historical sites of Yingkou; the Sea Pearl Stone; the Sea Zodiac sculptures; and a sunken performance square, among other attractions.
The New Crescent Bay Beach is located on both sides of Shanhai Square. Its main facilities include the Shidao Red Scenic Wall, green belts, and small service stations. The 60-meter-tall Bohai Pearl Princess Sculpture stands on a reef 1,500 meters from the coastline. Inspired by an ancient legend of Bayuquan, the sculpture carries profound meaning and is strikingly beautiful. It is a classic masterpiece that blends Shanhai culture and fish-dragon culture, serving as a symbolic landmark of Bayuquan, a coastal tourist city.
