Itinerary Overview
Days 1–2: Kuala Lumpur → Days 3–4: Penang → Day 5: Langkawi → Days 6–7: Sabah (Kota Kinabalu). Flights are the most time-efficient way to travel between cities.
Days 1–2: Kuala Lumpur
- Day 1: Petronas Twin Towers and KLCC Park → Late-night snacks at Jalan Alor → Shopping in Bukit Bintang.
- Day 2: Batu Caves (272 colorful steps) → Chinatown (Petaling Street) → National Mosque → Night views from Kuala Lumpur Tower.
Days 3–4: Penang
- Day 3: Street art in George Town → Chowrasta Market (Chew Jetty) → Cheong Fatt Tze Mansion (Blue Mansion) → Dinner at a local hawker centre.
- Day 4: Penang Hill funicular + Kek Lok Si Temple → Penang National Park or a ferry island tour.
Day 5: Langkawi
Langkawi Sky Bridge → Seven Wells Waterfall → Pantai Cenang Beach → In the evening, join a mangrove tour or island hopping. Langkawi is a duty-free island, with affordable chocolate and alcohol.
Days 6–7: Sabah
- Day 6: Kota Kinabalu city (Floating Mosque, Universiti Malaysia Sabah beach) → Sunset at Tanjung Aru Beach.
- Day 7: Day trip to Kinabalu Park or diving at Sipadan/Mabul Islands → Depart from Kota Kinabalu Airport.

- The KLIA Ekspres takes just 28 minutes directly to KL Sentral, the fastest way into the city.
- Flights connect Penang, Langkawi, and Sabah; book early with AirAsia for better prices.
- The George Town heritage area is walkable, so wear comfortable shoes.
