Former Site of Baita Railway Station

The former site of Baita Railway Station is a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit.

Baita Station is located in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, China. It is a fourth-class station under the administration of China Railway Hohhot Group Co., Ltd., built in 1923.

The station was first constructed in 1923.

After the fall of Guihua (now Hohhot) to Japanese forces in 1937, the invaders carried out partial renovations; the station ceased operations the same year.

In 1977, due to partial rerouting of the Beijing-Baotou railway line, Baita Station disappeared from use.

On September 24, 2014, the former site of Baita Station was announced as a Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.

On October 17, 2019, the former site of Baita Station was included in the eighth batch of National Key Cultural Relics Protection Units.
