Pingshi Drifting

Jiulong & Shiba Tan Drifting ---- Surrounded by beautiful mountains and clear waters with fresh air, this drifting experience is both exciting and enjoyable. Visitors can take a bus directly to Pingshi Railway Station, buy tickets at the waiting hall upon arrival, and then drift downstream on a rubber raft before landing at Xiaotan. The full course covers 30 kilometers and takes about 3 hours. After changing and dining, visitors can soothe their worries and then board the “Golden Rooster” vintage-style tourist train to return to Lechang Railway Station.

Golden Rooster Ridge ---- Located in Pingshi Town, known as the “Northern Gateway of Guangdong” and “First Town of Lingnan,” it is one of Guangdong Province’s eight famous mountains, covering an area of approximately 1.6 square kilometers. It gets its name from a large dan-red rock on the northwest peak that resembles a golden rooster.

Longwangtan Eco-Tourism Area ---- Situated 18 kilometers northeast of Lechang City, this area combines hot springs, green lakes, and unique mountains, divided into three main zones: Longquan (Dragon Spring), Longhu (Dragon Lake), and Longgu (Dragon Valley). Hence, it is also called Sanlonggu (Three Dragon Valleys) Eco-Tourism Area, representing a unique and superior combination of resources found only in Guangdong Province.

Ancient Buddha Caves ---- Named for the cave’s stalagmites and stalactites that resemble immortals and Buddhas, as well as the Buddha statues placed inside by earlier generations and the Buddhist temple built at the cave entrance. It is located 5 kilometers southwest of Lechang City.

Pingshi Town: Located in the northernmost part of Guangdong Province and adjacent to Yizhang County in Hunan, Pingshi Town is a tourist town as well as the economic, cultural, and financial hub of northern Lechang City.
