Bird Village and Tieluoba

Bird Village is situated next to Jinguiling, a provincial-level scenic area. It boasts Danxia landform, yet its terrain is fairly flat with a notable area of water bodies. Enclosed by cliffs on all sides, it creates a whole, secluded, and peaceful space where numerous birds make their home, serving as a haven for avian life. The rock formations here even resemble a cluster of birds gathered together, so lifelike that it’s difficult to distinguish reality from illusion—an astounding sight.

Tieluoba is located 8 kilometers southeast of Jinguiling and also features Danxia landform. The southern entrance serves as the access point to the basin, with cliffs on the east, west, and north. To the south stand the Sister Rocks, exposed amid the towering mountains. Surrounded by steep cliffs with no accessible paths, the site features tall stone pillars standing proudly. Several stone columns encircle a larger central pillar, resembling a blooming lotus or sisters reunited after a long separation, embracing one another—hence the name Sister Rocks. Near the Sister Rocks, lush green pines stand firmly.
