The Tieshiling Mining and Metallurgy Site is located on a slope of hills in the Tieshiling area northeast of Wuwang Village, Changlai Town. It was one of the larger iron smelting sites in northern Guangdong during the Northern Song Dynasty. The site stretches 450 meters from east to west and over 120 meters from north to south, covering an area of approximately 54,000 square meters. It spans several hill slopes and still retains a large amount of iron ore and slag. The site has accumulated layers of iron slag up to 3 to 5 meters thick, among which a collection of Song Dynasty ceramic fragments has been found, featuring blue-and-white glaze, stamped blue glaze, incised patterns, and crackled designs, predominantly in powder blue and pale moonlight hues.

Changlai Town: Changlai Town is the southernmost established town in Lechang City, located 5 kilometers from downtown Lechang. The town was established in December 1949 and has previously been referred to as a district, township, district office, and people’s commune. Since 1987, it has been a town. It covers an area of 92 square kilometers, bordering Langtian Town to the east, the Lecheng Subdistrict Office to the northwest, and Ruyuan County to the south.
