The Former Site of the Headquarters of the First Division of the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Revolutionary Army is a classic red tourism attraction.

The Former Site of the Headquarters of the First Division of the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Revolutionary Army is located at No. 78 Gonghe Street, Laopingshi Town, Lechang City. It is a two-story building constructed in the late Qing Dynasty. The structure faces east and is situated on a west-east axis, measuring 3.67 meters in width and 29 meters in depth across three bays. The total floor area is 210 square meters.

In January 1928, Zhu De and Chen Yi led part of the Nanchang Uprising troops through Jiangxi and Hunan to Renhua and Lechang in Guangdong. They were reorganized as the First Division of the Workers' and Peasants' Revolutionary Army and stationed in Pingshi, Lechang County. Soon after, Xu Kexiang, commander of the Kuomintang’s 24th Division, launched an attack on Zhu De’s forces with four regiments. Zhu De led his troops to counterattack in the Sanxingping area near Wuyangsi, achieving a major victory by capturing over 700 enemy soldiers, seizing more than 2,000 rifles, over 100 pistols, more than 10 heavy machine guns, eight mortars, 13 warhorses, and a large quantity of military supplies.

In 1978, the People's Government of Lechang County designated it as a cultural relics protection unit.
