Taoyuan Mountain Villa

This mountain villa is located in Quanziliang Village, Dayushu Township, 30 kilometers south of the Daihai Tourist Area in Liangcheng, 23 kilometers north of Zhuozi Mountain Town, and 1 kilometer from the Huxing (Hohhot–Xinghe) Emergency Passage. It boasts a superior geographical location, convenient transportation, a unique cultural environment, and beautiful natural scenery. It is a new highlight of rural tourism that integrates eco-tourism, special breeding, and cultural heritage development. The construction of the villa began in 2011, covering a total area of 3,800 mu, mainly consisting of barren hills and slopes, tidal flat land, and abandoned villages. To date, one ecological fish farm has been completed, raising fish species such as carp, crucian carp, and grass carp; a 200-square-meter special poultry farm houses over 500 birds including golden pheasants, turkeys, pearl chickens, black-bone chickens, Sanhuang chickens, chukar partridges, and semi-wings. Additionally, more than 20 special pigs and 200 North Xinjiang fine-wool sheep have been raised. Ongoing projects include an artificial fishing platform, a breeding and display farm for poultry, Yan’an-style cave dwellings, a wild pasture, a villa restaurant, and landscape greening. This area was once a grazing ground for the Xianbei people, part of the ancient Guisui courier route during the Qing Dynasty, and an anti-Japanese base in the Manhan Mountains. It holds rich historical and cultural significance, with legends such as the troop drilling ground of Tuoba, Emperor Kangxi’s western inspection tour, Russian scholar Borodin’s expedition, and the battle between Marshal He Long’s 120th Division and the Nationalist Security Regiment.
