Tutankhamun Exhibition
The Tutankhamun Exhibition is a permanent exhibition located in Dorchester, Dorset, England, UK. It was established in 1986 by Michael Ridley and is a replica of the tomb of Tutankhamun, a pharaoh from the 18th Dynasty of the New Kingdom period of ancient Egypt.
All exhibits in the Tutankhamun Exhibition are not the actual treasures of Tutankhamun, but they are accurate replicas of the real items. Even sound and scent have been taken into consideration, which ensures that visitors' enthusiasm remains undiminished. At the entrance, information about Tutankhamun’s life and death is introduced. The exhibition features the Rosetta Stone, a reconstructed likeness of Tutankhamun, his mummy, reconstructed furniture and personal items from his burial, scenes of funeral ceremonies, gold jewelry, and more—all truly breathtaking and well worth a visit.
