Swanage is a seaside town and civil parish located in the southeast of Dorset, England, situated at the southeastern tip of the Isle of Purbeck, about 10 kilometres south of Poole and 40 kilometres east of Dorchester. It lies at the eastern end of the Jurassic Coast, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Once a small port and fishing village, it is now a popular tourist destination.
