This tourist site was established in the spring of 2003, covering a total area of 1,000 mu, with a built-up area of over 180 square meters. It is an agritainment destination that integrates dining, accommodation, entertainment, and leisure, showcasing the process of animal husbandry, the pastoral landscape, and the daily life and labor scenes of herders as its main tourism resources. The site is located in the Third Group of Subugaqi Village, Subugaqi Town, Ejin Horo Banner, approximately 38 kilometers from the Baotou-Maoming Expressway. Visitors can stay in traditional herder houses, enjoy Mongolian meals, participate in herding tasks, experience local customs, admire pastoral scenery, shop for local goods, make friends with herders, and observe unique practices such as the herders’ special sheep-slaughtering technique, dairy product preparation, and Obo worship. They can also take part in entertainment activities like bonfire parties and folk music performances, fully immersing themselves in the rural natural environment and returning to nature. Last year, the site received 900 visitors (person-times) and generated over 110,000 yuan in revenue.
