Heaton Park is located in Bolton in the northern part of Greater Manchester, England. Established in 1902, it covers an area of approximately 600 acres, making it the largest park in Greater Manchester and one of the largest municipal parks in Europe. It is highly favored by local residents.

Heaton Park has been designated as an English Heritage site. It features an 18th-century neoclassical country house, Heaton Hall, an animal center, lush green lawns, shady trees, and a variety of recreational facilities, making it an ideal destination for outings.
