Bury is a town in Greater Manchester, England, located on the River Irwell, 8.9 km east of Bolton, 9.5 km southwest of Rochdale, and 12.7 km northwest of Manchester. Bury, along with several nearby villages, makes up the Metropolitan Borough of Bury, where Bury is the largest town and administrative centre.

Bury is particularly famous in the UK for Bury Market, an open-air market renowned for its traditional black pudding. The Bury Art Museum on Moss Street houses exquisite works of Victorian and 20th-century art, including classic pieces by masters such as Turner. Bury Castle is a manor originally built by Thomas Pilkington in the mid-13th century. The Parish Church of Bury is a Grade I listed building. In addition, Peel Tower (built in memory of British Prime Minister Sir Robert Peel), the East Lancashire Railway, the Fusilier Museum, and the area's vibrant music festivals are also worth visiting.
