Fiat Museum

The Fiat Museum is located in a small alley not far from the headquarters of the Fiat automobile company in Turin, Italy. Interestingly, the museum's name means "old and ugly."

To most people, Fiat is just an Italian car manufacturer known for producing small cars, but in fact, with a history of over 110 years, Fiat is a great enterprise. It holds an extremely important position in the history of the world's automotive industry, whether for Italy, Europe, or the world. After World War I, Fiat became one of the most important car companies in Europe; in the 1950s, during the post-war economic boom, Fiat single-handedly supported Italy’s industrial development; and now, it has risen against the odds during the financial crisis by acquiring the traditional American giant Chrysler.

The interior of the Fiat Museum has two floors. The first floor displays representative vehicles, car models, and products from different eras since Fiat was founded in 1899. The second floor showcases military aircraft, ships, and submarines manufactured by Fiat for the government during World War I and World War II, as well as original handwritten drafts of corporate promotional posters and some precious historical photographs over the years. Of course, the highlight is the restored office exhibit of Fiat’s former president, Agnelli, bringing a vivid history of Fiat to life before visitors' eyes.
