The National Automobile Museum of Italy is located in Turin, a city in northern Italy. It is the oldest and largest automobile museum in the world. Its establishment was first conceived as early as 1932, but due to the impact of war, it was not completed and opened until 1960. In 2002, preparations for reconstruction began, including a design competition, and the museum closed in 2007 for rebuilding. It finally reopened to the public on March 20, 2011.

The National Automobile Museum of Italy was deliberately reopened on the 150th anniversary of Italian unification, with the hope of further inspiring Italians' innovative capabilities in industry in the new era. The newly built museum has expanded from its original 11,000 square meters to its current 19,000 square meters, spanning three floors. It is divided into 29 zones and displays nearly 200 original cars from 80 brands across eight countries, including Italy, France, the United Kingdom, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, Poland, and the United States. Italian cars naturally take center stage, and many are rare, even extinct models that not even the manufacturers themselves have in their collections—sure to be a treat for car enthusiasts. Additionally, the newly expanded museum also features facilities such as a library, documentation center, bookstore, and conference rooms, greatly enhancing the visitor experience.
