Molsheim

Molsheim is located in eastern France, about 25 kilometers from Strasbourg and Colmar. It is a commune in the Bas-Rhin department of the Grand Est region of France and serves as an important economic and cultural hub in the area. The world-renowned automobile manufacturer Bugatti is based here.

Molsheim is a city in the Alsace region that is well worth a visit. Its well-preserved old town, numerous traditional Alsatian buildings—including the Baroque-style Church of Sainte-Croix, the classical Town Hall, and the Renaissance-style Metzig tavern—along with the inviting restaurants surrounding the church and a short wooden arcade, all make it hard to resist exploring this charming little town. The first thing you’ll see is the Tour des Forgerons, a medieval-era building and the most iconic landmark in Molsheim. The Town Hall Square in the city center is also highly recommended. The photogenic buildings in every corner of the square and nearby popular bars offer the perfect setting to sip a drink while taking in the town’s enchanting scenery and local charm. In addition, the nearby Bugatti Automobile Museum is a great place to learn about the history and heritage of the legendary brand that holds the record for the world’s fastest production cars.
